We are an association of analytically trained individual, group, couple and child psychotherapists. Founded in 1983 as the Brighton Association of Analytic Psychotherapists, we have over 60 members.
All our members are professionally qualified and have completed an extensive training with a recognised and accredited analytic psychotherapy training organisation. This will have included personal therapy and working with people under close supervision. Becoming an Analytic Psychotherapist
Registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists UKCP and/or the British Psychoanalytic Council BCP all our members are required to abide by the professional code of ethics of their training organisation or registering body.
We also have a number of students undertaking training in analytic psychotherapy who may be able to offer reduced fee therapy for prospective training patients.
