Cinemas of the Mind is a collaboration between the Duke of York’s Picturehouse and Psychotherapy Sussex arranging screenings and discussions of films which are of interest from a psychoanalytic standpoint, as well as from other perspectives.
Cinemas of the Mind has also collaborated with organizations such as CINECTY, the UK Jewish Film Festival and the Brighton and Hove “Celebrating Age Festival” .

'Shock Head Soul' (2012) Simon Pummell. 1 December 2012 as part of the Cinecity festival with the Duke of York's Picturehouse. The film maker joined Helen Taylor-Robinson, a psychoanalyst, Ian Christie, a film historian and Clive Robinson, a psychiatrist. for a post-screening panel.
