I am a Psychoanalyst and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist having trained with the British Psychoanalytic Association and the British Association of Psychotherapists (now part of the British Psychotherapy Foundation).

I am a Training Therapist and Supervisor for the British Psychotherapy Foundation

I am a registered member of the International Psychoanalytic Association and the British Psychoanalytic Council

I work in full-time private practice in the Fiveways area of Brighton

I am trained in intensive, long-term psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy and I am therefore particularly interested in working with people who are wanting an analysis or who are looking for longer term, more intensive psychotherapy

I began my career working with young people and was the Director of a young people's advice and counselling service for many years. I then worked at The Women's Therapy Centre in London and for Threshold Women's Mental Health where I set up the National Women's Mental Health Information Service. I have also worked as a mental health advocate and have held two Honorary Psychotherapist posts in the NHS. I am a founder member of Brighton Psychotherapy & Counselling
